Huong Trinh (she/her) is the Community Organizer at the Vietnamese Association of Illinois.

She was born in Long Khanh, Vietnam and moved to the United States when she was 9 years old. She graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago in 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in Gender and Women’s Studies and a minor in Global Asian Studies. While at UIC she was a part of the student advisory board for the Global Asian Studies (GLAS) program and volunteered on the youth advisory board for The Network to raise awareness about youth dating violence.
