Sandy Lu

BRAVE Project Coordinator

Sandy received her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology and Criminal Justice/Criminology from Loyola University Chicago. She previously interned at the Cook County Juvenile Court Clinic and worked as a peer mentor to a group of first-year students at Loyola. As the BRAVE Site Coordinator, Sandy is responsible for providing case management services and programs to minority at-risk youths from the ages of 12 to 15. These programs include relevant youth violence prevention services and recreational group activities/outings. Sandy obtains student records in order to help improve academic achievement through tutoring, and she also oversees BRAVE interns.

In her free time, Sandy enjoys reading and spending time with friends. A couple fun facts about Sandy: she can say the alphabet backwards and also studied abroad in Vietnam for 4 months!
