Anjali Misra (she/her) is the Development Manager at the Vietnamese Association of Illinois.

She has worked in the non-profit development sector since 2016, supporting social service and grassroots advocacy organizations in the Midwest. Prior to that, she earned a graduate degree in Gender & Women’s Studies from University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she also taught for the Asian American Studies Program and worked for the campus’s first and only gender-inclusive residence hall. Anjali is a core leader with Asian Americans Advancing Justice – Chicago, as well as a board member of Midwest Asian American Student Union. With a background in radio journalism and community theater, in her spare time Anjali can currently be found hosting a pop culture review podcast called Anjalivision.
