Jessica Arellano

Jessica (she/her) graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in the Spring of 2017 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Criminology, Law & Justice. Inspired by her experiences growing up with two immigrant parents, she started working with the community and helping with citizenship applications her senior year at UIC as an intern. Following graduation, she worked as an immigration specialist in the private and non-profit sector helping individuals and their families apply for application benefits. She aspires to pursue a law degree in immigration or labor rights in the future. Jessica is a cat mother who enjoys journaling, dancing, and trying out new hobbies.
