Rapeepat ‘Rachel’ Kumpichai (she/her) is the Immigration Service Lead at the Vietnamese Association of Illinois. She was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand. Prior to joining VAI, she practiced law in Thailand where she worked with clients from various backgrounds. She assists the Immigration and Legal Services team since she is passionate about assisting those in need. She speaks Thai and English. Rachel earned her bachelor’s degree in laws from Thammasat University in Thailand and her master’s degree in laws from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
